When do I get paid?

Commissions go through a 30-day hold period after the referred user's first payment to protect against fraud and chargebacks.

Timeline:

  • Day 0: Referred user pays → Commission created (held)
  • Day 30: Commission moves to available balance
  • Anytime after: Request payout (min $10)
  • 2-3 business days: Funds arrive in your bank
How do I get approved?

Before you can receive payouts, an admin must verify your traffic source.

  • Sign up and get your referral link
  • Start sharing and driving traffic
  • Once you have conversions, we'll review and verify your traffic
  • After approval, you can request payouts (minimum $10)
What's the commission rate?

10% commission on the referred user's first payment.

Admin may increase your rate based on traffic quality and volume.

What happens with chargebacks or refunds?

Chargebacks and refunds result in commission clawback:

  • Commission is deducted from your available balance
  • If balance is insufficient, a debt is recorded
  • Future commissions first pay off any debt
  • You cannot withdraw until debt is cleared

Important: Self-referrals and fraudulent signups will result in account termination and forfeiture of all earnings.

How does fraud detection work?

We use multiple signals to detect and prevent referral fraud:

  • Payment method fingerprinting (same card = blocked)
  • Device and IP matching between referrer and referred
  • Cardholder name matching
  • Billing address verification
  • Signup velocity and timing patterns

Suspicious referrals are flagged for manual review. Confirmed fraud results in permanent ban.

How do I set up payouts?
  1. Go to Dashboard → Referrals tab
  2. Click "Set Up Payouts with Stripe"
  3. Enter your personal/business info
  4. Add your bank account
  5. Verify your identity (may require ID upload)

Once complete, you can request payouts anytime your available balance is $10 or more.

Do I need to be a paying subscriber to refer others?
No! Even free users can participate in the referral program. Create a free account, get your referral link, and start earning. You don't need to upgrade to share and earn.
Do I have to pay taxes on referral earnings?

Yes, referral commissions are taxable income. If you earn $600 or more in a calendar year, you'll receive a 1099-NEC form from Stripe.

During Stripe onboarding, you'll provide your SSN or Tax ID for tax reporting purposes. Stripe handles all tax form delivery automatically.
